Cool fall ride

Cool weather is here. I put the fairing lowers back on.
Rode up to Uno with my neighbor.
Had a great lunch at Mama Lou's Bar-B-Que.

Photos below of big bro taking the Glide for a test ride.

Centerstand

Installed the Wheeldock EZ Up stand.
http://www.wheeldock.com/prod_EZ.shtml
Very easy to install (2 bolts) and very easy to use.

Saves a lot of room in the garage.

Maintenance and cleaning the left side should be much easier.

Turbo Encabulator

Several years ago, Rockwell International decided to get into the heavy duty transmission business. They were getting ready to tape a first introduction video, and, as a warm up, the professional narrator began what has become a legend within the trucking industry. This man should have won an Emmy for his stellar performance. Now remember this is strictly off the cuff, nothing is written down. It became the biggest talk in the industry, vs the new product which they were introducing.

Too hot in the valleys. Felt at least 30 degrees hotter.
Back up to the Blueridge, headed south for another night in Roanoke.

Back road near Roanoke. Never rode through a drain tile before.

Entering West Virginia.

Old bridge over New River in West Virginia. Road surface was a mixture of steel mesh, concrete, and steel plates.

The arch is 1700 feet across.

This bridge is huge! That's a four lane highway up there!
